That’s how they call trousers in Zakarpattia, and since we have been inspired by this wonderful land, you can call them like that, too. Our gati have a TAPERED cut (narrowed from the knee to the bottom) and have many elements with the identity of this particular region and Ukraine. In addition to the classic pockets on the back, there are two more hidden spacious pockets that can easily fit even a cell phone or wallet. Buttons are engraved with trident symbols, the belt loop is stylised with our signature ‘Proudly created in Ukraine’, and the trousers themselves have a hidden seam where we have placed traditional embroidery from Zakarpattia.

Myths and legends seem to come to life here, where you can meet mavkas and the chuhaister among the meadows and spruce trees, and hear the echo of the Great Axe. And all these chthonic entities are reflected in the interweaving and nooks and crannies of the embroidered patterns that Hutsuls use to decorate their clothes and houses. Based on those decorations, we created our print, which can be seen printed inside on the back of the pocket. A copy of the traditional Hutsul embroidery is hidden in the seam on the right leg. The button on the front has an engraved trident, and the side belt loop bears the inscription ‘Proudly created in Ukraine’. These jeans are basic, so they're not too embellished, but wait — there's more to come!
