AH_dc55ff9a-33a7-11ef-9bc4-00155dcd4802We have created a new women’s polo about the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Petro Franko – the real superstars of Ukrainian aviation from Starokonstiantyniv, who since 2014 have been making us read almost every news story about the exploits of our Su jets with our jaws dropping. And when their Su-24s have been fitted with Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles, it turned out to be even more exciting! Now the geography of this ‘good news’ for Ukraine reaches far into enemy territory. So we decided to rethink the polo about this brigade and update it in such a way that the traditions of Ukrainian aviation and its modern capabilities would harmoniously fit into the prints and outlines. The symbol of the Brigade, a Carpathian hawk, spreads its embroidered wings on the chest. Below the hawk is the Brigade’s embroidered slogan, which is also emblazoned on the official chevron: «Оперативність. Влучність. Достовірність» (‘Efficiency. Accuracy. Reliability’). All this is united by a massive drawing of a Su-24 in the background. On the back, we have the embroidered slogan «За волю України» (‘For the Freedom of Ukraine’) in an authentic font (the same font used on UGA aircraft more than 100 years ago) against a massive trident. The left sleeve features a printed image of Petro Franko, the founder of Ukrainian aviation, with Newports in the background. On the left sleeve, there is an embroidered ‘UA’.
AH_a794d58a-3d21-11ef-9bc5-00155dcd4802The founder and commander of the Khartiia Brigade, Vsevolod Kozhemiako, pointed very accurately that the Khartiia is a manifesto of action. And guys of Kharkiv know very well how to act. Recently, this was confirmed by poet and volunteer Serhiy Zhadan, who was voluntarily recruited to join the Brigade together with members of the Zhadan i Sobaky band. At the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, he was one of those who contributed to the creation of the Khartiia and has been actively supporting the volunteer combat unit, which has now grown into a full-fledged brigade. We are convinced that this Viking would be a perfect fit for the Ukrainian sky and our infrastructure: it can take off from short runways with lightning speed and land even on motorways. The JAS 39 Gripen women’s T-shirt has an original cut, in which we combined a classic and a raglan sleeve. The T-shirt has a classic straight line on the front, which connects to the elongated back with a smooth wave-shaped line. Against the background of the fighter jet, we have inscribed the eloquent ‘Once a Viking always a Viking’, and below it, ‘Continue Vikings story in Ukraine’.

Georgian-American engineer, and then manufactured commercially in the US from 1975 till
1984. This very plane was often in sight of our pilots as one of the options for replacing the
Soviet aircraft. While our Air Force prepares to adopt F-16, we fantasize about how this
Thunder With A Really Big Bolt would have looked in blue-and-yellow livery; only this livery
can give a plane a Really Big Bolt. Despite its respectable age, A-10 Thunderbolt would
resolve many issues not only regarding protection of our skies, but also giving the enemy a
rough ride on “primordially” UKRAINIAN territories, if you know what i mean.

Our new women’s I SEE YOU T-shirt is about the tough guys with FPV drones that never leave PDRs (= shitheads) alone. FPV goggles have a phosphor coating, so those predatory eyes glow in the dark!
P.S. Keep in mind that the goggles will not glow if you just pull the T-shirt out of a dark closet, because, like an FPV drone, the phosphor needs to be ‘charged’: hold the T-shirt in the light or shine a flashlight on the image!

If Petro Franko, the first commander of the Aviation Division of the Ukrainian Galician Army, had imagined for a second the kind of combat glory that awaits the brigade that will bear his name, he would have been at risk of stalling out into a spin with his Nieuport airplane!
On the front of the T-shirt, we placed a large print with the brigade’s bird symbol and a Su-24 with new missiles. On the top, there is a symbolic inscription ‘Хто посіє вітер, пожне бурю’ (‘Whoever sows the wind will reap the storm’). On the sleeve, there is a yellow and blue roundel and the caption ‘Ukrainian Air Force’.

“We will win only when we realize that we have to kill for Ukraine, not die”. This inscription
adorns our new polo shirt dedicated to Hryhorii Skovoroda, which not only tells about the life
path of the remarkable philosopher, but also points out the effect of illusory truth – people’s
tendency to trust the information they heard or saw many times, especially if it resonates
with the condition and circumstances they find themselves in.
Psychologists discovered this effect about 50 years ago, and we did it now. The full-scale
war showed that our consciousness has troubles with distinguishing illusory truth from
reality, since what we believe in is what resonates with us.
Historians believe that this phrase was never said by Hryhorii Skovoroda, but there is no
proof of that.Given Skovoroda’s life attitudes in his time, we acknowledge that he might have never said
that. But who know if he would have been a pacifist in today’s Ukrainian reality….
