Ukraine’s history is made up of millions of personal stories. And perhaps one of them will begin with this white Independence Day shirt by Aviatsiya Halychyny.

Some measure just 0.14 mm long, making them easy to mistake for a speck of dust. Certain species are smaller than some single-celled organisms, yet despite their microscopic size, they still have simplified but functional organ systems: nervous, digestive, reproductive, and more.
Their wings are often extremely narrow and fringed with long hairs, giving them the appearance of miniature feathers. And this isn't just one extraordinary insect: around 1,400 species are known across about 100 genera, and researchers continue to discover new ones. These tiny yet remarkably complex creatures inspired the design of this shirt. On the back are two graphic mymarids with delicate, translucent wings. The pale-gold outline print almost disappears into the milky fabric, revealing its details only when viewed up close — much like mymarids themselves, living all around us yet remaining invisible unless we take a closer look. The shirt is designed to let you play with its silhouette, with adjustable drawstrings along the hem. Inside the chest pocket is a small informational note about mymarids — for those who choose clothes not only for their form, but also for the stories they carry. This shirt is a reminder: wings can be almost invisible. But we know you have yours.

The upper panel echoes the shape of wings: instead of being stitched down along the edge, the denim falls freely in an overlapping layer. Its shape flows into the pocket line — to reach the pocket, simply lift the edge and slide your hand beneath the “wing.”
