In 1912, in Galicia, a local teacher, Oleksandr Tysovsky, together with Ivan Chmola and Peter Franko, created a community that was destined to survive two World Wars, the Holodomor, a total ban, emigration, and many other trials, and to survive to this day exactly as it was intended. With the same values ​​that were invested in it. Isn’t it a miracle?

AH_6369b7cc-b07f-11ee-9bb2-ac1f6b742a2b Since 1912, no fight for the freedom of Ukraine was complete without the participation of Plast members. Roman Shukhevych and Stepan Bandera tempered their spirits here. From here members joined the ranks of the Sich Riflemen, and now the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Plast members sang Ukrainian songs to the whole world, like Kvitka Cisyk, and served the mankind, like Liubomyr Huzar. The best thing that can be given to a child is the right to choose where and how they will be useful to the world. Plast is the choice of the brave.

If you think about it, it is difficult to overestimate Plast’s role in the formation and creation of Ukrainian identity, and Ukrainian statehood in general. From the beginning of its existence Plast, in fact, has been a kind of amulet of Ukrainian values, which thanks to scouts spread and continue to spread where it is necessary. Since the beginning of the war, and even earlier, since the Maidan Uprising, scouts have been in the front lines to protect our country. Unfortunately, many of them died for our freedom. And it has always been like that. Scouts have always been in the vanguard of the country's defenders. In short, this collaboration is very important to us. And we are very happy to present the result. We developed this hoodie together with scouts. They filled it with meaning important for scouts. The hoodie comes in two colors: khaki and black. The hoodie has a slanted front zipper, cuffs on the sleeves and bottom. The sleeves have the same gloves as ski jackets. On the chest, there is a Plast’s lily with a trident and the year of Plast’s foundation (from the year of our Lord 1912). On the back, there is also a large embroidered Plast’s lily and the slogan С.К.О.Б. Stylized symbols are embroidered around the lily, which are the acronym for Сильно/Красно/Обережно/Бистро (meaning Strongly/Beautifully/Carefully/Speedily). On the inside of the hoodie there are lyrics of the song printed, which is always sung at the bonfire at the end of the camps. On the left sleeve, there is an “Independence War” patch. On the right one, there is a place for a patch. We suggest adding a militarized kurin’s chevron to it. How to order a customized token and chevron? After ordering, we will contact you to clarify all the details. If you don’t belong to any kurin or Plast in general – no problem, we have a special chevron and token for you too.At the end of the camp day. Symbols Strongly as oak, Beautifully as viburnum, Carefully as fly agaric, Speedily as lightning.
