The first collection of jewellery by Aviatsiya Halychyny could not have been different. We weren’t even looking for ways to create a collaboration, but fate unexpectedly brought us together with Ellen Rococo, and the chemistry happened just by itself. Olenka, like Aviatsiya Halychyny, has been creating pieces with meanings for many years and has been working to make the Ukrainian products fashionable. At first, it was motanka dolls and fantastic jewellery made of polymer clay and parts of old watches, but later the artist’s style began to blossom with ethnic motifs, and now her jewellery can be used to identify our community in any corner of the world. Just as we can identify our people by their clothes with wings.

Collaborations and initiatives of the artist have a special place in our aviation-loving heart. Just look at the pendants for prisoners of war from Azovstal or the ones she made for charity for Khartiia. ‘I’m inspired by the events and people around me,’ says Olenka, ‘The idea of a collab with Aviatsiya Halychyny appeared after I created my airplanes. I was quietly dreaming about how to propose the idea of collaboration to Aviatsiya, and then we did a joint shoot for The Witch of Konotop, after which the brand offered me to work with them as a jeweller. I think there are no coincidences in the world.’

Together with Ellen Rococo, we present three new handmade jewellery pieces: FIGHTER mono earring/pendant, ROUNDEL earrings, and ROUNDEL pendant. Each piece can be stylized both with each other and separately. Restrainedly sophisticated and brutally minimalist at the same time, these jewellery pieces will suit any look. There is nothing more fashionable in the world than freedom. And here, every detail is about freedom.
